Privacy Policy for OmMarginshield

OmMarginshield helps sellers check pricing decisions, protect margin, review marketplace-ready update files, and manage merchant-controlled pricing workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how to contact us with privacy questions.

Data We Access

We do not store end-customer PII. We only process product pricing data, product identifiers, fee assumptions, recommendation evidence, purchase entitlement status, support messages, and account information needed to operate OmMarginshield. The free mobile calculator can run without an account, and saved mobile calculator checks are stored in local device storage unless you deliberately use an account or connected workflow.

How We Use Data

OmMarginshield uses pricing and product information to display margin insights, compare observed product prices, prepare recommendations, generate seller-ready update files, enforce merchant-defined guardrails, and maintain operational audit records related to those recommendations. We use purchase and entitlement status to unlock the plan features you purchased.

Mobile App and App Store Purchases

Apple processes iPhone in-app purchases and may provide transaction, renewal, and entitlement information that allows OmMarginshield to validate purchases, restore purchases, and unlock the corresponding app features. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

The current mobile app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo-library, calendar, health, or advertising-tracking access. Sharing a calculator result uses your device share sheet only after you tap Share.

Connected Platforms

When you authorize Shopify or another supported marketplace/account workflow, OmMarginshield uses only the permissions needed to read product or pricing data, prepare recommendations, generate update files, validate outcomes, and apply merchant-approved actions where authorization is available.

Data Sharing

We do not sell merchant data or end-customer data. We may use trusted infrastructure providers solely to host, secure, monitor, process purchases, validate entitlements, and operate OmMarginshield.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed to protect app data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss.
